Steve Johnson
Founder, 1480 Trading Co.
In 2015 Steve Johnson started 1480 Trading Company, to support select suppliers of high-end tile and stone products.
In the previous 20 years, Mr. Johnson was at Butler-Johnson as a VP of Sales, the company peaked at 100 million dollars in sales. In 1999 Mr. Johnson launched a new ceramic and stone division for the company. The Tile and Stone division grew to over 12 million in sales and included exclusive distribution for Crossville and Interceramic. In addition to other manufacturers like Casa Dolce Casa, Piemme, Provenza, Marca Corona, La Fabbica, Keraben, and several others.
Mr. Johnson holds a BS from California State University Fresno and an MBA from Santa Clara University. He lives in Healdsburg California with his wife Anne and their dog TJ. They have three grown sons Patrick, Peter and Mark.
Mark and his wife Gabrielle just welcomed our second grandchild, Fitzpatrick. Cooper is very excited about his baby brother.

Starting in the sample room at Butler-Johnson, Peter went on to spend twenty years in the customer service industry including owning his own pet sitting business (Dogg Dudes) for eight years. Before joining 1480 he spent 5 Years in corporate retail management.
